Registration is done on-line, please register her under her age group.

At what age can my daughter join a Club Team?  Typically teams are formed with girls ages 10-18.

How do I pay? You will pay on-line at chanhassenathleticassociation.org when you register.  Initial registration fee of $300 must be made prior to evaluations (October 26th, 2014 for 14-under and November 9th, 2014 for 15+).

What forms do I need to bring along to the try-outs? Please print, sign and bring the necessary forms to try-outs.  They are available under the Documents/Forms tab on the Chanhassen Athletic Association-Volleyball home page:   Medical Release and North Country Membership.

What will happen at try-outs?   The try-out process will consist of registration, physical testing, skill evaluation, team play and then player selections.  By the conclusion of the tryouts we will have selected all players for each team. At the time of selection each player & their parent will be required to sign a USAV binding commitment letter to play with Chanhassen Club Volleyball.

Will there be a team at every age group? We anticipate teams at these levels:
12s,13s League,  12s,13s,14s Local, 14s,15s and 16sTravel Teams.

What are the advantages to being on a travel team? The travel teams are structured to compete at higher levels of play and intensity *Additional tournaments *Two coaches per team with more individual player development *Longer season *Overnight travel *More practice time *More competitive play

What is a "Local" team?  The Local  team will be similar to the regular travel teams geared at playing at a higher level of play and intensity but with no out of state tournaments and a slightly shorter season.

What are the advantages to being on a league team? *Shorter season *Fewer tournaments *Lower cost *No overnight travel

Who will be coaching? Our coaching staff is a combination of the current Chanhassen High School Volleyball staff and other experienced volleyball coaches with various volleyball backgrounds.

Where and when will practices be held? Currently we are scheduled to have most practices scheduled on Monday-Thursday evenings at Chanhassen High School and Pioneer Ridge.   Schedules for December - June are still being arranged with District 112 but most likely will be at Chanhassen High School and Pioneer Ridge as well.

What is Power League? Power League is the on-going league tournament played at various locations in the Twin Cities throughout the winter months. Teams play approximately every-other weekend, either Saturday or Saturday from either 8:00a.m.-2:00p.m or 2:30p.m.-8:30p.m.

Will there be ways to offset costs by fundraising? Yes, we are planning a variety of fundraising programs to support both the program and individual players. There will be at least one mandatory fundraiser during the season, as well as opportunity for other voluntary fundraisers.

Will every player be placed on a team?  CCV will try and place as many girls as possible within one of the club offerings.  In the event, your daughter does not make a team, the NCR website is a good resource to find other local clubs that may be looking for players.

What if my daughter doesn't attend school or live in the Eastern Carver County School District? Your daughter will be allowed to try out, however priority will be given to players attending Chanhassen High School.
